Curriculum accademico
Calogero Orlando received the master degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Palermo and the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa.

He is now Associate Professor of Aerospace Systems at the Kore University of Enna.

He is the head of Numerical Modeling and Analysis Laboratory of the Mediterranean Aeronautics Research and Training Academy of the Kore University of Enna.

His research activity concerns the study of intelligent structures and materials, their mathematical modeling and characterization of multi-field response, the modeling and numerical analysis of aeronautical systems, statistical Monte Carlo analysis of the control systems robustness, heuristic optimization procedures as well as comfort and human factors in aviation.



Calogero Orlando ha conseguito la laurea quinquennale VO in Ingegneria Aerospaziale presso l'UniversitÓ di Palermo e il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Ingegneria Aerospaziale presso l'UniversitÓ di Pisa.

Attualmente Ŕ Professore Associato di Sistemi Aerospaziali presso l'UniversitÓ di Enna Kore.

╚ responsabile del Laboratorio di analisi e modellistica numerica del centro MARTA - Mediterranean Aeronautics Research and Training Academy dell'UniversitÓ di Enna Kore.

La sua attivitÓ di ricerca riguarda lo studio di strutture e materiali intelligenti, la modellazione e la caratterizzazione matematica della risposta multi-campo, la modellazione e l'analisi numerica di sistemi aeronautici, l'analisi statistica Monte Carlo della robustezza dei sistemi di controllo, le procedure di ottimizzazione euristica nonchÚ l?analisi del comfort e dei fattori umani aeronautici.
